POTATOES AU GRATIN 
4 c. sliced potatoes
6 tbsp. butter
6 tbsp. flour
1 c. milk
1 c. cream
1 c. chicken broth
Salt & pepper to taste
Cheese, optional

Set oven to 350 degrees. Cook sliced potatoes in salted water until partly done. Place in casserole dish. Melt butter in saucepan. Add flour, mixing well. Add milk, cream and chicken broth until thick. Add cheese if desired. Pour over potatoes. Bake at 350 degrees for 45 minutes or until lightly browned.
