CHOCOLATE CHIP COOKIES 
1 c. butter
1 c. sugar
1 c. brown sugar
2 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla
2 c. flour
2 1/2 c. oatmeal, ground fine
1/2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. baking soda
12 oz. chocolate chips
4 oz. Hershey bar, grated

Put small amounts of oatmeal in blender until all is powdered.

Cream together butter and sugars; add eggs and vanilla. Mix together flour, oatmeal, salt, baking powder and baking soda. Add flour mixture to creamed mxiture. Add grated chocolate and chocolate chips. Roll dough in hand (approximately 2 oz.) and place on ungreased cookie sheet, 2 inches apart. Bake at 375 degrees for 13-15 minutes. Makes 33 giant-sized cookies.
