1 box German chocolate cake mix
3/4 c. butter
1 c. Carnation milk
14 oz. Kraft caramels
1 c. nuts
1 c. chocolate chips

Do not follow box recipe. Mix together cake mix, melted butter, and 2/3 cup of Carnation milk. Blend and pour 1/2 of mixture into greased 9 x 13 pan. Bake 10-15 minutes at 350 degrees. Melt in double boiler: caramels, and 1/3 cup Carnation milk. Pour over cake that has been baked. Sprinkle with nuts and chocolate chips. Spread remaining cake mix over top. Bake 15-18 minutes or until done at 350 degrees.
