BANANAS GUADALCANAL 
2 tbsp. water
1 tsp. vanilla
1/2 tsp. orange extract
1/2 tsp. almond extract
4 bananas, not too ripe
5 tbsp. brown sugar

Lightly butter 8 x 8 x 2 inch baking dish. Mix together water and extracts, set aside. Peel 4 bananas. Measure onto waxed paper 5 tablespoons brown sugar. Roll bananas in brown sugar. Place 1/2 inch apart in baking dish. Sprinkle with flavoring mixture or rum or liqueur. Bake at 350 degrees for 25 minutes. Serve with cream or vanilla ice cream.
