COOL BANANA SOUFFLE | |
Nutra Sweet to taste 1/8 c. finely chopped walnuts 1 oz. gelatin 1/3 c. boiling water 1 med. size banana 2/3 lb. lemon juice 1/3 c. heavy cream, whipped Dissolve gelatin in boiling water, stir cool. Slice bananas into blender, add lemon juice, puree, stir, puree into gelatin mixture. Place bowl in pan partly filled with ice water until mixture chills and mounds slightly when dropped from spoon. Fold in whipped cream, spoon into pie pan, souffle dish. Refrigerate for 3 hours or until firm, peel off collar carefully. Garnish with remaining walnuts. (souffle dish preparation - fit with wax collars that extend 1 1/2 inches above edges of dish, butter inside of collar and coat with part of chopped nuts). |
