CHUCK ROAST MARINADE | |
1/2 c. salad oil 1/2 c. ketchup 1/4 c. red wine 2 tbsp. wine vinegar 2 cloves garlic, chopped 1/2 tsp. salt, pepper, dry mustard, celery salt & chili powder Use chuck or English roast. Poke meat with fork. Combine ingredients and pour over meat. Marinade for at least 4 hours, preferably overnight. Remove meat from marinade. Bake covered at 350 degrees for 2-2 1/2 hours. You can dip potatoes and carrots in extra marinade and bake for 1 1/2 hours, either in a separate pan or add to meat. |
