CHILI 
2 tbsp. fat or salad oil
2 lbs. ground beef
2 c. thinly sliced onion
1 1/2 c. finely diced celery
1 clove garlic, cut fine
1/2 green pepper, diced
2 tsp. chili powder
2 tbsp. cold water
2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. sugar
1 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
4-6 c. cooked or canned red kidney beans

Preheat fry pan. Add fat; melt. Add beef. Stir and fry until lightly browned. Add onions, celery, garlic and green peppers. Continue stirring and frying until onions are wilted. Add tomatoes, chili powder which has been mixed with cold water, salt, sugar and Worcestershire sauce. When boiling, cover and simmer about 1 hour. Add beans; drain excess liquid. Cook uncovered until well heated.
