MARINATED SLAW 
1 lg. cabbage, shredded coarsely
1 green bell pepper, shredded
1/2 c. green onions, diced
1/2 c. sugar
1/4 c. vinegar
1/4 c. corn oil
1 tsp. prepared mustard
1/2 tsp. celery seed
1/2 tsp. salt

Bring last seven ingredients to a boil. Let cool and stir over cabbage mixture. Refrigerate overnight. Keeps really well for some time in the refrigerator.
