SOUR CREAM POUND CAKE 
2 3/4 cups sugar
1 cup butter
6 eggs
3 cups all purpose flour
3/4 tsp salt
1 tsp baking powder
1 cup sour cream
2 tsp vanilla

In a large bowl cream together sugar and butter, till light and fluffy. Add eggs one at a time beating well after each addition. Sift together flour, salt and baking powder and add to the creamed mixture alternately with sour cream, add vanilla.

Pour into a greased 10 inch tube pan.

Bake in 350°F oven for 1 hour or until tested done.
