SOUR CREAM POUND CAKE 
1/2 c. butter
1/2 c. shortening
3 c. sugar
5 eggs
3 c. flour
1/2 tsp. baking powder
1/4 c. milk
1 c. sour cream
1 tsp. vanilla

Cream butter and shortening. Gradually add sugar and continue beating until light and fluffy. Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition. Sift together flour and baking powder. Add alternately with milk and sour cream. Add vanilla. Pour into greased and floured tube pan.

Bake in 300°F oven for 1 1/2 hours.
