CORN RELISH 
1 1/2 c. sugar
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. celery seed
1/4 tsp. mustard seed
1/2 c. white vinegar
1/4 tsp. hot pepper sauce
1 (12 oz.) can whole kernel corn
2 tbsp. chopped green pepper
1 sm. onion, chopped
1 tbsp. chopped pimento

Combine sugar, salt, celery seed, mustard seed, vinegar and pepper sauce in 1 1/2 quart casserole. Cover. Microwave 2 to 3 minutes on High, or until sauce just starts to boil. Stir in corn, green pepper, onion and pimento. Combine. Cool. Refrigerate at least 6 hours to blend flavors. Yield: 2 cups.

Since microwave ovens vary in power, you may need to adjust your cooking time.
