2 c. sifted all-purpose flour
1 c. sugar
1 1/2 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1/4 c. butter
1 egg, beaten
1 tsp. grated orange peel
3/4 c. orange juice
1 1/2 c. light (golden) raisins
1 1/2 c. fresh or frozen cranberries, chopped finely

Sift dry ingredients into a bowl. Cut in butter until mixture is crumbly. Add rest of ingredients and mix until moist. Bake at 350 degrees in 9 x 5 x 3 inch loaf pan (greased) for 1 hour and 10 minutes. Toothpick should come out clean. Cool 10 minutes then remove from pan.

You may substitute raisins with 1 1/2 more cups of cranberries if you want very very cranberry bread!
