HUNGARIAN COOKIES 
1 lb. confectioners' sugar
1 lb. lard
3 whole eggs
2 eggs, divided
1 whole lemon rind
2 lb. (6-7 c.) flour
1 c. walnuts, chopped
Sugar cubes, chopped

Preheat oven to 425 degrees. Mix sugar, lard, whole eggs. Add egg yolks, lemon rind, flour, and mix together. Roll out 1/8 inch. Cut with cookie cutters. Brush tops with egg whites and top with chopped walnuts and chopped sugar cubes. Bake at 425 degrees for 5-7 minutes or until edges brown.
