STROMBOLI MEAT LOAF
3 lbs. ground beef
3 cloves garlic
3 eggs
1/2 tsp. sweet basil
1/2 tsp. oregano
1/2 c. bread crumbs
Grated Parmesan cheese
1/4 lb. boiled ham, sliced
1/2 lb. Provolone, sliced
1 can mushroom caps and stems (8 oz.)
Grated Mozzarella
1 (16 oz.) can tomato sauce

Mix ground beef, garlic, eggs, basil, oregano and bread crumbs, combining well. Place beef mixture on a large piece of heavy-duty aluminum foil. Spread meat out fairly thin (between 1/4 and 1/2 inch, until it looks like a giant hamburger). Sprinkle with Parmesan cheese until lightly covered. Distribute boiled ham over the top. Cover with slices of Provolone, top with mushrooms. Cover with Mozzarella.

Roll ground beef and toppings as you would a jelly roll. Put in deep pan and bake in preheated oven at 375 degrees one hour. Remove, drain off fat. Cover meat loaf with tomato sauce, bake another half hour, 8 to 10 servings.
