BEST COUNTRY GREEN BEANS 
You'll think your grandmother made these beans!

1/2 lb. bacon (8 slices)
1 large onion, diced
2 (15 oz. ea.) cans Italian green beans, drained
2 tomatoes chopped (or one can chopped tomatoes, drained)
salt and pepper, to taste

Fry bacon in skillet and then drain on paper towels.

Sauté onion in bacon grease until tender.

Add drained green beans, mix with onion and simmer covered for 10 minutes.

Mix in tomatoes, salt and pepper, and simmer on low for 20 minutes covered.
