TEXAS CAKE 
2 c. flour
2 c. sugar
1 tsp. baking soda
1 c. butter
1 c. water
1/4 c. cocoa
2 beaten eggs
1/2 c. sour cream
2 tsp. vanilla

Stir flour, sugar and soda together with a fork. Place butter, water and cocoa in saucepan and bring to a boil. Add this to the flour mixture. Add eggs, sour cream and vanilla. Pour into greased 11x17 jelly roll pan. Bake 20 minutes at 350 degrees.

FROSTING:

1/2 c. butter
5 tbsp. milk
1/8 tsp. salt
2 tbsp. cocoa
1 tsp. vanilla
1 lb. (3 1/2 c.) powdered sugar

Mix the above ingredients with a mixer. Pour on Texas Cake while cake is still hot.
