CROCKPOT BEEF STROGANOFF | |
2 lbs. ground beef or beef cubes 2 med. onions, chopped 2 cloves garlic, minced 1 sm. can mushrooms, drained 2 1/2 tsp. salt 1/4 tsp. pepper 1 1/2 c. consomme or 2 beef bouillon cubes mixed with 2 c. water 3 tbsp. tomato paste (or 1 sm. can) 1 1/2 c. sour cream mixed with 4 tbsp. flour Brown beef in large skillet; add onions, garlic and mushrooms. Saute until onion is golden brown. Put meat in crockpot with all remaining ingredients. Stir thoroughly. Cover and cook on low (2 1/2) for 6 to 8 hours. Serve over buttered egg noodles or rice. Serves 6. |
