ROLLED OATS COOKIES (Drop) 
1/2 c. butter
1 1/2 c. sugar
2 eggs, beaten
3 scant c. rolled oats
1 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 tsp. nutmeg
1/2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. baking soda dissolved in
1/2 c. sour milk
1 c. raisins
1 c. nuts
2 1/2 c. flour

Cream shortening and sugar. Add eggs; mix thoroughly. Stir in oats. Add flour and spices alternating with sour milk. Stir in raisins and nuts. Drop by teaspoons 1 inch apart and bake in oven at 350 degrees for 15 minutes.
