ROLLED OAT DROP COOKIES 
2 c. flour
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 tsp. cloves
1 c. shortening
1 1/2 c. brown sugar
2 eggs (beaten)
2/3 c. sour milk or buttermilk
1 1/2 c. rolled oats
1 c. raisins
1 c. chopped nuts

Combine dry ingredients. Add shortening, egg and milk. Mix thoroughly. Add oats, raisins and nuts. Stir in by hand. Bake at 350 degrees for 12 to 15 minutes or until browned.
