SWEET MILK BISCUITS 
2 c. all-purpose flour
1 tbsp. baking powder
2 tsp. sugar
1 tsp. salt
1/4 c. shortening
3/4 c. milk

Sift together dry ingredients and cut in the shortening until mixture looks like coarse cornmeal. Stir in milk slowly with a fork until a soft dough is formed. Scrape out onto a well floured board and knead a few times. Roll dough about 1/2 inch thick and cut out the biscuits. Bake in preheated oven at 450 degrees until golden brown, 8-10 minutes.
