SHRIMP AND ARTICHOKES 
2 tbsp. butter
1 tbsp. flour
1/2 tsp. pepper
1/4 tsp. cayenne pepper
1 pt. half & half
1 tbsp. tomato ketchup
3 tbsp. lemon juice
3 tbsp. sherry
1 can artichokes sliced
2 lb. shrimp, cooked and cleaned
1 c. grated New York cheese
1 tbsp. Worcestershire sauce

Melt butter. Add flour, pepper and cayenne pepper. Mix well. Add half & half. Cook over low heat until thick and well blended. Add ketchup, Worcestershire sauce, lemon juice and sherry. Blend.

In baking dish, alternate layers of artichokes and shrimp. Pour sauce over these layers; top with grated cheese last 10 minutes of baking. Bake in 400 degree oven about 30 minutes.
