Agreed! It is Christmas Eve and the last place I want to go when making fudge at 5AM is the grocery store in the freezing cold and snow! Every other recipe calls for dried milk... hello, if I am out of condensed milk I am probably out of dried milk! Ha! AWESOME!

I was skeptical... but this worked great for a microwave fudge recipe! Now I can't stop eating the fudge tho...

I made a pumpkin pie using this substitute for sweetened condensed milk and was pleasantly surprised that it worked!! The texture of my pie was altered a bit, but not in a bad way. The taste was excellent.

This was a lifesaver! I was homesick and decided to make our traditional Cassava cake and realized that I had no condensed milk for the topping! Hi there... I am trying to use this in the chocolate, graham cracker, coconut cookie bars and it calls for a 14 oz can of sweetened condensed milk... does the above recipe make the equivalent of a 14 oz can or should I double it?? Thanks for the help

Fabulous! Equivalent to 14 oz. can - maybe little more. Warning- do not overmix in a mixer - makes eggs/vanilla frothy & therefore 'grows/foams' like marshmallow in recipe vs sinking in like reg sweetened condensed milk.

Amazing substitute! I didn't have this milk and needed it for a chocolate fudge recipe, it turned out fantastically thanks to this sub.

FYI - I didn't figure it out until I was measuring it that this makes ONE CUP but worked still perfectly for doubling.

Super Substitute!! I used this for fudge on top of a Hershey's brownie recipe, had all ingredients besides sweetened condensed milk... Thank goodness 4 the internet!!!

Thank goodness I came across this. I bought evaporated milk and not sweetened condensed milk. I thought I was out of luck since its the day before Thanksgiving. This saved my pies!

HOW awesome is this! I made home-made dulce de leche from this recipe and it turned out wonderfully! My dad is lactose intolerant and i'm always trying to find new ways of cooking for him! turning the dulce de leche into frosting for cupcakes! Thanks again!
