THANK GOODNESS for the internet and this website! I was in the middle making cheesecakes today and realized my sweetened condensed milk had expired... 2 years ago.

YES, Thank you! I was making Peppermint Cheesecake for tomorrow and it has to freeze at least 6 hrs.... if it wasn't for this...

Merry Christmas!

Thank you so much. I had to make some fudge and we had all of the ingredients but condensed milk. We were staying somewhere that we could not get any from a shop. This substitute worked well.

Thank goodness for this substitute. Canned milk of any kind is unhealthy... Denatured proteins for one thing.

I used this substitute to make layered cookie bars from Hershey and then I made the recipe a second time with a can of sweetened condensed milk, and the recipe was way better with the substitute than the real thing. A great sub, thanks so much!

WOW.. What a great idea and the taste is outstanding and like comments mention before that it's better than sweetened condensed milk in a can. My hat off for this! :))

 Sonya (Oregon) says:
Yes, thank goodness for the internet. I was making pumpkin pies (yes, the recipe calls for sweetened condensend milk) and realized I didn't have any. I found this substitute and used it. I was a bit shocked to see the pies started rising. But they did fall and received raving reviews from all 20 people of the get together. As I've always said in the past. Homemade is always better.

Quick, easy, uses ingredients you may have on hand if you suddenly realize you don't have condensed milk. Whip this together and viola! Tasted as good as condensed if not better! What a lifesaver! thanks!

I used this to make a fudge sauce for chocolate covered cherry cookies. I was not expecting much, having forgotten to buy sweetened condensed milk for the recipe. I was pleasantly surprised! Came out perfect!
