GULASCHSUPPE 
3 1/2 oz. lard
3 1/2 oz. onion
1 tsp. paprika
A little water
7 oz. diced beef
Salt, garlic, caraway, marjoram
1 dessert spoon tomato puree
3 raw sm. diced potatoes
1 1/4 pts. water or stock

1. Fry onion in lard without browning. Then add meat and all the spices, pour on the water or the stock and simmer until tender.

2. Add the small pieces of potato and boil until soft.
