SWEET, SOUR PORK AND CABBAGE 
5 bacon slices, cut into 1/2 inch pieces
1 lb. pork cubed steaks, cut into strips or cubed
1 med. onion, chopped
8 c. chopped green cabbage (1 3/4 lbs.)
2 cooking apples, cored and chopped
1/3 c. cider vinegar
3 tbsp. brown sugar
1/2 tsp. salt

In Dutch oven (large pot), cook bacon until crisp, about 5 minutes. Remove bacon with slotted spoon and set aside. To drippings, add pork and onion; saute for 5 minutes. Stir in remaining ingredients; cover and cook over medium heat for 30 minutes, stirring occasionally. Transfer by slotted spoon to serving dish and sprinkle with bacon. Makes 4 servings, about 610 calories per serving.
