RUSSIAN TEA CAKE 
1 c. butter, soft
1/2 c. confectioners sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
2 1/4 c. flour
1/4 tsp. salt
3/4 c. finely chopped nuts

Mix thoroughly butter, sugar, and vanilla. Stir in flour and salt. Mix in nuts. Chill dough. Roll into 1 inch balls. Place on ungreased cookie sheet (cookies do not spread). Bake at 400 degrees for 10-12 minutes until cookie set, but do not brown. While still warm roll in confectioners sugar. Cool. Roll in sugar again. Makes about 4 dozen 1 inch cookies.
