SOUR DOUGH BREAD STARTER 
1 pkg. active dry yeast
1 tsp. salt
1/4 c. very warm water
1/2 c. sugar
1 c. very warm water
1 tbsp. vinegar

Dissolve yeast in 1/4 cup warm water, mix in other ingredients and let stand in warm place 2 to 3 days.

Put starter in refrigerator 3 to 5 days. Take out and feed with:

1/2 c. sugar
3 tbsp. instant potato flakes
1 c. warm water

Mix with Wooden Spoon. Leave out of refrigerator all day. This does not rise or bubble. That evening late take out 1 cup of starter to make bread and return rest to refrigerator. If not making bread or rolls after feeding, give away a cup or throw away a cup. (Starter must be fed every 3 to 5 days.)
