GLAZED CARROTS (MICROWAVE) 
4 lg. carrots (1 lb.)
3 tbsp. packed brown sugar
2 tbsp. butter
1 tbsp. water
1/2 tsp. salt
1/8 tsp. ground cinnamon

1. Cut carrots into long thin strips. Set aside. Combine brown sugar, butter, water, salt and cinnamon in 1 1/2 quart casserole.

2. Microwave at High (100%) until butter is melted, 45 seconds to 1 minute 30 seconds. Stir to blend. Stir in carrots until coated. Cover, microwave at High (100%) until carrots are tender, 5 to 8 minutes, stirring once. Makes 5 to 6 servings.

Since microwave ovens vary in power, you may need to adjust your cooking time.
