CORN AND GREEN CHILE CASSEROLE 
2 (10 oz.) pkgs. frozen whole kernel corn
2 tbsp. butter
1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese
1 tbsp. sugar (optional)
1 (4 oz.) can chopped green chiles, drained

Cook corn; drain and set aside. Melt butter in heavy saucepan over low heat; add cream cheese and stir until blended. Stir in corn, sugar and green chiles. Spoon into a lightly greased 1 quart baking dish. Cover and bake at 350 degrees for 25 minutes. Makes 6 servings.
