RICE PILAF 
2 c. rice (raw)
1 stick butter
1 lg. green pepper
1 lg. onion or 2 sm.
1 tsp. salt
2 c. chicken or beef broth

Brown rice in butter with onions and pepper and salt. Heat broth until hot. Pour over rice mixture in large casserole. Bake 1 hour at 375 degrees (covered). Add 1 can mushrooms before serving.
