1 1/2 c. tomato puree
1 minced onion
1 tsp. oregano
1 tbsp. vinegar
2 tbsp. oil
1 1/2 tsp. salt
Green peeled chilies to taste

Combine all ingredients, mashing well. If desired, cut string beans in small pieces and cook until tender.
