Cream together:

2 c. sugar
3/4 c. Crisco

Add:

2 eggs
2 1/2 c. flour
1/2 c. cocoa
1/4 tsp. salt
1 c. sour milk
1 tsp. vanilla

Blend ingredients together alternately, then last add 1 cup boiling water with 2 teaspoons baking soda. Bake in 9 x 12 inch slab pan (greased and floured) for about 45 minutes at 350 degrees. This is very moist.
