SQUASH CASSEROLE 
5-6 med. yellow squash, cut into slices
1 lg. onion, cut into slices and separated
Saltine crackers
Shredded Cheddar cheese
Salt and pepper to taste
1 1/2 c. milk

Boil squash and onions together in saucepan full of water until tender. Drain. Make several layers of squash mixture, crumbled crackers, and Cheddar cheese in a casserole dish; at least 2 layers of each. Top with cheese and pour milk over top. Bake at 350 degrees until lightly browned.
