1 stick butter
1 c. brown sugar, loose
1/2 c. white sugar
1 egg
1/3 c. chocolate syrup
2 c. self-rising flour

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Mix sugar and butter well; add egg then chocolate syrup and last of all flour. Roll into sticky gold-ball size balls. Press onto cookie sheet with 2 fingers. Bake until flat and slightly browner around the edges, about 8-10 minutes. Lift off pan with wide spatula. Cool until firm.
