2 qts. water 1 qt. cider vinegar 1 c. salt 1 clove garlic 1 sprig dill or 1 tbsp. dill seed 1/4 tsp. alum Sm. to med. size cucumbers In saucepan, bring the water, vinegar, and salt to a rapid, rolling boil and keep hot until all solution is used. Wash cucumbers and pack neatly into quart jars. Add garlic clove, dill, and alum to cucumber and pour the boiling vinegar solution into the jars and seal. No precessing time is required. |
