1 scant c. coarse salt
1 qt. vinegar
Sprigs of dill or dill seed
2 qt. water
1-2 cloves garlic
Cucumbers

Wash and cut lengthwise medium sized cucumbers. Fill jars. Let vinegar solution come to a boil. Pour over cucumbers and seal. Add solution to each jar.
