SOUR CREAM POUND CAKE 
3 c. sugar
3 c. flour
1/4 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. vanilla
1/2 lb. butter
1/2 pt. sour cream
6 eggs

Cream butter and add sugar. Beat until smooth. Add egg yolks and mix well. Sift flour and sugar together 3 times. Add flour and sour cream alternately to creamed mixture. Add vanilla and mix well. Beat egg whites and fold into mixture. Pour into angel food cake pan.

Bake at 325°F for approximately 1 1/2 hours.
