SOUR CREAM CHOCOLATE POUND CAKE 
1 c. butter
2 c. sugar
4 large eggs
2 squares unsweetened chocolate or 4 tbsp. cocoa
2 tsp. vanilla
1 c. sour cream
2 1/2 c. flour
2 tsp. baking soda
1/4 tsp. salt
1 c. boiling water

Cream butter and sugar. Add eggs one at a time. Stir in chocolate and vanilla. Mix baking soda and sour cream together and add to mixture. Add salt to flour and mix in. Then add boiling water. Mix well. Pour into greased and floured with cocoa tube pan. Bake for 1 hour and 30 minutes at 325°F.

Frosting:

2 to 3 tbsp. butter
1 (1 lb.) box powdered sugar
2 1/2 squares unsweetened chocolate or cocoa
Milk, add slowly to get right consistency

Beat until fluffy. Add more chocolate if desired.
