PUMPKIN BREAD 
2/3 c. shortening
2 2/3 c. sugar
4 eggs
1 (16 oz.) can pumpkin
2/3 c. water
3 1/3 c. self-rising flour
2 tsp. cinnamon
3/4 tsp. nutmeg
2/3 c. chopped nuts
2/3 c. raisins

Mix shortening and sugar; stir in eggs, pumpkin and water. Blend in flour, cinnamon and nutmeg. Stir in nuts and raisins. Pour into large greased tube pan or two greased large loaf pans and bake in preheated 350 degree oven for 1 hour and 10 minutes.
