EASY BAKERY ICING 
1 stick butter
1/2 c. Crisco
1 c. sugar
4 tbsp. flour
1/2 c. slightly warm milk
1 tbsp. vanilla

For a variation - use 1 cup packed brown sugar instead of white - good on chocolate cake.

Place all ingredients in bowl. Beat on high thoroughly until sugar is no longer "gritty".

Milk should be warmed like when warmed for a baby. This icing looks curdled and awful when you first start to beat it, but it becomes very creamy. It takes about 10 minutes to beat.

Food coloring can be added about 1/2 way through beating.
