NANA'S STUFFED FLANK STEAK | |
8 pieces of flank, sirloin or skirt steak 1 onion sliced thin 1 can plum tomatoes 3 slices bread (sour dough) 3 tbsp. olive oil (or more if needed) 1 tbsp. poultry seasoning heaping Cut bread in 1/2 inch pieces. Put in bowl; sprinkle oil on bread and toss until bread is dampened. Add onions and mix; sprinkle poultry seasoning and toss. Pound meat thin; stuff steak and roll. Put in toothpicks to hold meat. Put bit of oil in baking dish. Lay in rolls. Mash tomatoes a bit. Add tomato and juice over meat. Bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour and 15 minutes or until meat is done. |
