STRAWBERRY CREAM PUFFS 
1/2 c. water
1/4 c. butter
1/8 tsp. salt
1/2 c. sifted flour
2 eggs
1/2 c. heavy cream
2 tbsp. confectioners' sugar
1/4 tsp. vanilla extract
36 med. strawberries, washed and hulled

Preheat oven to 400 degrees.

In a saucepan, bring water to boil with butter and salt. Remove from heat. With wooden spoon, beat in flour, all at once. Return to heat. Beat until ball forms. Remove from heat, beat in eggs until smooth. Drop dough by rounded teaspoons 2 inches apart on ungreased cookie sheet. Bake until golden brown, 20-25 minutes. Let cool. Meanwhile, beat cream with 2 tablespoons confectioners' sugar until stiff, stir in vanilla. (Refrigerate - covered.)

With sharp knife, cut slice off top and fill each with scant of whipped cream. Press strawberry into each one. Replace top and sprinkle with confectioners' sugar. Makes 36 puffs
