1 c. butter
1 c. salad oil
1 c. white sugar
1 c. powdered sugar
2 eggs
4 1/2 c. flour
1 tsp. vanilla
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. cream of tartar

Mix and roll in small balls, press flat with bottom of glass dipped in sugar. Bake on greased sheet about 12 minutes in 350 degree oven.
