SOFT CHOCOLATE CHIP COOKIES 
1 cup (2 sticks) butter
1 cup shortening (Crisco)
1 1/2 cups brown sugar
1 1/2 cups sugar
4 eggs
2 tsp. vanilla
5 cups all-purpose flour
2 tsp. salt
2 tsp. baking soda
1 (12 oz.) pkg. chocolate chips

Cream butter, shortening and sugars. Add eggs and vanilla, beat until fluffy. Stir flour, salt and baking soda together. Mix all ingredients together. Add chocolate chips. Bake at 350°F until lightly brown.
