3 cups sugar
1 cup milk
1 cup peanut butter (your choice)
pinch of salt
3 tbsp. butter

Combine first 4 ingredients. Cook over medium heat until mixture is stiff and caramel color, stirring constantly.

When thick remove from heat; add 1 teaspoon butter.

Beat until mixture is very thick. Pour into greased tin. Cool; cut into squares.
