SCALLOPED POTATOES 
6 med. potatoes
2 tbsp. flour
3 c. milk
1/4 tsp. pepper
3 tbsp. butter
2 tbsp. chopped onion
1 tsp. salt
1/4 c. grated cheese

Pare potatoes; slice thin, cook in small amount of boiling water while preparing white sauce. Make white sauce of butter, flour and milk. Melt butter, add flour and make a paste. Add milk and cook until thickened.

Put half the potatoes in greased 2 quart casserole, cover with 1/2 the sauce, seasoning and onion, then remaining sauce. Cover and bake in 350 degree oven for 1/2 hour.
