CHRISTMAS FRUIT COMPOTE 
3 c. peach halves, drained
3 c. pear halves, drained
3 c. apricot halves, drained
2 c. pineapple chunks, drained
1 (4 oz.) Maraschino cherries
1 c. pecans
1/4 c. butter
1 c. brown sugar
2 tsp. curry powder

Drain fruit completely and arrange in 1 1/2 to 2 quart casserole with nuts. In a saucepan heat butter, brown sugar and curry powder to an almost boil, mixing completely. Pour brown sugar mixture over fruit. Bake at 325 degrees for 1 hour. Serves 12.
