DUTCH TEA CAKE | |
1/4 c. butter 2/3 c. sugar 1 1/3 c. flour 2 tsp. baking powder 1/2 c. raisins 1 egg 1/2 c. water 1/2 c. sugar 1 egg 1 tsp. cinnamon Cream 1/4 cup butter and 2/3 cup sugar. Add flour with baking powder sifted in it. Add raisins, egg and water. Bake in 9 inch pan at 375 for 25 minutes. Take from oven. Punch holes in top with handle of silver knife. Have ready mixed 1 egg, 1/2 cup sugar and 1 teaspoon cinnamon. Pour quickly over hot cake. |
