COLD SLICED PICKLES 
Sliced cucumbers
Sliced onions
3 c. vinegar
3 c. sugar
1/3 c. salt
1 tsp. celery seed
1 tsp. mustard seed
1 tsp. turmeric

In gallon jar, place pickles and onion. Let stand for 2 to 3 hours. Mix together rest of ingredients. Stir often until salt and sugar is dissolved. Pour over pickles, swishing it all around until the pickles are all covered with juice. Store in the refrigerator. Will keep in the refrigerator for 2 to 3 months - even longer.
