CABBAGE AND SAUSAGE WITH CREAM
SAUCE
 
1/2 head white cabbage
1/2 lb. sausage
1 pt. milk
1 tbsp. butter
1 tbsp. flour
1 sm. c. bread crumbs
1/2 pod red pepper

Cut cabbage fine; let stand in cold water 1/2 hour; drain. After boiling 15 minutes, add more water and cook 10 minutes; drain. Add fried sausage; put in baking dish. Pour over cream sauce. Bake until seasoned. Serves 6-8.

Combine butter, flour, and bread crumbs for sauce. Add red pepper.
